STEM in the Classroom

Recently, we visited our elementary school science class and watched our girls’ working in groups along with their chromebooks to build solutions to a physics problem. The problem was how do you move people across a busy highway, an urban planning commission type issue, if you will. The issue includes weight baring construction and options to move people.

Our girls’ came up with ideas from ziplines to hot air balloons and settled on building suspension bridges for pedestrians to help them walk above the highway. Great job, girls! Just another example of our liberating education.
